The Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV) is a non-immigrant visa offered by the Philippine government, allowing foreign nationals and former Filipino citizens (aged 40 and above) to live indefinitely in the Philippines with multiple entry and exit privileges. Administered by the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA), the SRRV provides benefits like tax exemptions on pensions, and the ability to work, study, or invest in the country. It aims to boost the local economy by encouraging foreign investment and tourism, and offers an appealing retirement option for expatriates.

SRRV holders can use their deposit to purchase property, under certain conditions. Specifically, the SRRV Classic category allows to convert the deposit (after PRA approval) into an "active investment" such as buying a condominium unit or entering a long-term lease of house-and-lot. Beyond this, SRRV offers long-term convenience by granting indefinite stay in the Philippines with indefinite validity, allowing holders to enter and exit freely without re-entry permits, and providing exemptions from burdensome requirements such as annual immigration reporting, exit clearance, and travel tax. Furthermore, foreign sourced income is not taxed in the Philippines
